The street market with a festival feel comes to town for a three day stay during March 2025. An eclectic mix of grocery foods, crafts and street foods.
Get your teeth into Sandwich and come join the fun for the Spring Market on the Guildhall Forecourt in the heart of the historic cinque ports town.

Founded in the 7th century by the Saxons (AD664), this strategically located member of the Cinque Ports (11th Century), has played a significant role in defence and trade throughout history. It has connections with the Magna Carta and the companion document, The Charter of the Forest, with the town having its own copy of both documents. Considered landmark documents in English legal and constitutional history they are also extremely rare and valuable items.
The village’s enduring charm is reflected in its medieval architecture and sandwich offers a perfect blend of history and attractions. The River stour, Sandwich Quay Playground and Gardens provides scenic walks, as does the Bay, while the Royal St George’s Golf Club, one of England’s oldest, draws golf enthusiasts. The Guildhall Museum showcases the village’s rich past, and charming streets offer a perfect backdrop to our visiting event.
