The FEASTival comes to Ludgershall bringing its eclectic mix of grocery stalls, crafts and street foods to the centre of town for an early season visit. Join us for a special gathering as we chase away the winter blues with a blend of retail therapy, entertainment and 'alfresco' dining (and it could well be fresh!).

Ludgershall, near Andover in Wiltshire, has a rich history dating back to the medieval period. It was recorded in the Domesday Book as Litlgarsele. With the construction of a castle circa 1100, that was in use both as a residence and meting place the castle hosted many monarchs and dignitaries before its decline in the 1500’s. Today, landmarks like the castle ruins and St. James’ Church (circa 1200) connect the town to its storied past. The area remain rural and with a modest population until its train station became one of the busiest stops on the train line with troops being conveyed into and out of the camps in around Salisbury Plain during the world wars.
Ludgershall is surrounded by remarkable attractions, including the historic Ludgershall Castle and Cross, the Hawk Conservancy Trust, the Thruxton Circuit motorsport venue, the iconic Stonehenge, and the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral.
