The countdown is on as Zoom prepares to launch a new food and drink focused event on the De La Warr Pavilion Gardens promising a bag full of tasty treats for the summer solstice weekend.
There will be food and drink in abundance featuring a provisions market together with pop up street foods and bars of distinction in an alfresco dining area. Entertainment for the whole family with food focused competitions, children's magic and balloon modelling, fairground rides, workshops, all set against the iconic backdrop of the De LA Warr Pavilion. And the icing on the cake, a live music stage with some of the best acts that Kent has to offer, so pack your cutlery + dancing shoes for the longest days of summer celebration in Bexhill this June.

Bexhill is first mentioned in English history in the Domesday Book of 1086 (worth £18!). In the centuries that followed, Bexhill continued to evolve as a modest fishing and farming community, but it wasn’t until the Victorian era and the expansion of the railways that Bexhill transformed into a popular seaside resort. The town’s jewel, the De La Warr Pavilion, stands as a testament to its architectural legacy since its inauguration in 1935. For a glimpse into the past, the Bexhill Museum offers something for everyone with artifacts spanning centuries. Nature enthusiasts can find solace in Egerton Park, while the Old Town’s timeless charm beckons with its historic allure. Bexhill’s picturesque promenade, adorned with Edwardian and Victorian architecture, offers a leisurely stroll. Notable residents past and present include Fanny Cradock and Johnnie Cradock (early TC chef-broadcasters pioneers), Spike Milligan, Gwyneth Strong, the Only Fools and Horses actress who played Cassandra Trotter and Oli Thompson, strongman and 2006 winner of Britain’s Strongest Man, to name but a few.
